Is the CFMoto Ibex 800 the same as the 800MT?
Yes, for the 19-inch bikes. The Ibex 800 S and 800 T launched in the US in 2023 as the 800MT Sport and Touring, and the Ibex 800 E has the same 19/17-inch wheels and 160/150 mm travel as the 800MT Explore.
Is the 800MT-X just an 800MT with a bigger front wheel?
No. The 800MT-X has a 21/18-inch wheel pair, 230 mm of travel, low side-mounted tanks and a frame that reviewers compare to KTM’s 790 Adventure. It is a different bike, not a variant.
Some shops list the Ibex 800 E with the 800MT-X. Which is right?
Rider Magazine’s test of the Ibex 800 E describes 19/17-inch wheels and 160/150 mm of travel, which matches the 800MT Explore, not the 21-inch 800MT-X. If a listing pairs the two names, check the wheel sizes.
What is the seat height of the CFMoto 800MT?
825 mm on the 19-inch bikes. The 800MT-X is 870 mm, or 830 mm on the X Low Seat version, which lowers the suspension rather than trimming the seat.
