2026 Harley-Davidson Super Glide: specs, gearing and calculators

The FXD name returns for 2026 as a limited run of 2,500 numbered bikes, with the Milwaukee-Eight 117 Classic and a 19/16-inch wheel set. Every figure below links to its source, and every calculator opens with the Super Glide’s own numbers.

Know your version. The 2026 Super Glide (FXD) is a Softail-based limited edition of 2,500 bikes. It is not the rubber-mounted Dyna Super Glide sold until 2017, so older Dyna figures and parts do not carry over.

Super Glide gear ratios and road speed in every gear

Six speeds, a 34/46 primary chain and a 32/66 final belt. The table works the published overall ratios back to the gearbox ratios and gives road speed at three engine speeds.

Gearbox ratios are the published overall ratios divided by the primary (46/34) and belt (66/32) ratios. Speeds use the rear tyre's unloaded circumference (2,031 mm); under load it rolls a few percent shorter, so real rpm is slightly higher. Published overall ratios: totalmotorcycle.com.

Side by side

Super Glide vs Street Bob

The same figures for both, on the same basis.

Head-to-head · MotoWild data

  • The 2026 Harley-Davidson Super Glide has the lowest seat, about 1.5 cm (0.6 in) lower than the 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Bob.
  • Ready to ride, the 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Bob is the lightest here, roughly 5 kg (11 lb) less than the 2026 Harley-Davidson Super Glide. Makers weigh differently, so treat small gaps as a draw.

Seat height (laden, as published)

2026 Harley-Davidson Super Glide640 mm
2026 Harley-Davidson Street Bob655 mm

A range means sources disagree. Lower is easier at a stop, but weight and seat width matter too.

2026 Harley-Davidson Street Bob293 kg · running order, claimed

Figures as published, with their basis. Wet, kerb and full-tank weights are close but not identical, so a few kilos either way is a draw.

Versions and model years

  • Harley-Davidson Super Glide: The 2026 Super Glide (FXD) is a Softail-based limited edition of 2,500 bikes. It is not the rubber-mounted Dyna Super Glide sold until 2017, so older Dyna figures and parts do not carry over.
  • Harley-Davidson Street Bob: Street Bobs from 2006–2017 are Dynas with Twin Cam engines; from 2018 they are Softails with the Milwaukee-Eight (107, then 114, now the 117 Classic). Check which one you have before using these figures.
