Short version: MotoWild does not sell your data, does not run advertising trackers and does not ask you to create an account. Below is what we collect, why, and your rights.
Last updated: October 2026. Who we are: MotoWild (motowild.co), an independent technical website about motorcycles. You can reach us through our contact page.
What we collect
- Server logs. Like every website, our host records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. Logs are kept for a limited time.
- Contact form. If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you send, and use them only to reply.
- Analytics. If we use analytics, it will be listed here along with what it collects, and it will only run with your consent where the law requires it.
Cookies
MotoWild itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. When you follow a link to a maker’s or shop’s website, that site’s own cookie and privacy policies apply.
Third-party services
- Fonts. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts.
- Hosting and security. Our hosting and security providers process request data to deliver and protect the site.
- Other websites. When you leave our site through a link, the destination site’s privacy policy applies.
Legal basis (EU and UK visitors)
We process server and security data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website, contact form data to answer you, and any optional cookies or analytics only with your consent.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK and US states such as California, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To make a request, use our contact page. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
MotoWild is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
